Eine weitere Woche ist vergangen und ich habe das Gefühl, dass die Zeit schon wieder zu rasen beginnt. Ich bin jetzt schon dreieinhalb Wochen hier- und habe es noch nicht geschafft endlich mal zum Sightseeing nach Sydney zu fahren. Aber dafür kenne ich Newcastle und die Umgebung schon richtig gut, was ja mit das Wichtigste ist, da ich ja oft genug irgendetwas unternehme und auch unternehmen möchte.

*Another week just passed by and I have the feeling that time is flying again- I´ve been here for three and a half weeks already. And I still haven´t been to Sydney for sightseeing. I just know Newcastle and the surrounding which is quite good because I want to do so many things and want to go to the most beautiful beaches...

Jedenfalls ist jetzt Ruhe ins Haus eingekehrt- also zumindest sind jetzt alle „Gäste“ weg. Ela ist am Donnerstag nach Hause geflogen und Michael ist am Samstag abgereist. Demnach bin ich jetzt, da Ela weg ist, auf mich allein gestellt- also zumindest muss ich meinen Weg zur Schule und Schwimmunterricht der Jungs allein finden, mich um die Jungs kümmern und mir natürlich auch neue Freunde zum Weggehen suchen. Bisher läuft das alles aber ganz gut.

Oli hatte am Montag seinen ersten Tag in der Vorschule (wie unser Kindergarten). Er war total aufgeregt, hat sich aber wacker geschlagen.

* This week the house is getting a little more quiet because now Ela is back home and Michael (Tim´s friend from the US who visited him) is gone as well. Since Ela is gone now I have to find my way and handle the kids all on my own. But it is working out at the moment.

Oli had his first day of Preschool last week. He was so excited but did really well.

Letzte Woche hat mich Gran nochmal mit auf eine ihrer Touren genommen. Sie arbeitet für Neutrametics- das ist eine Kosmetikfirma, die über Händler ihre Produkte an Privatleute verkauft. Sprich Gran ist bei der Firma angestellt und veranstaltet Partys etc. um Freunden und Bekannten die Produkte zu verkaufen. Und alle paar Wochen klappert sie die ganzen Kunden ab, bringt die Produkte und neue Broschüren. Das haben wir also am Dienstag gemacht. Zwischendurch war aber genug Zeit um die atemberaubende Landschaft zu bestaunen. Wir sind um die komplette Halbinsel hier gefahren und haben sämtliche Buchten besucht und Lunch am Strand gehabt. Ein toller Tag.

* Gran took me out for one of her road tours last Tuesday. She is working for Neutrametics means she sells cosmetic products of this company to people living nearby. Every now and then she´s having a cosmetic party showing the products etc. And then she is bringing the products to all the ladies which means that she´s going all around Newcastle. She took me and Oli with her and we had a good “Road Trip“ and spent some time at wonderful beaches and saw great bays.

Leider war Oli im Laufe der Woche noch krank geworden, sodass wir gar nicht richtig was machen konnten. Wir waren am Mittwoch noch ein letztes Mal mit Ela am Strand, was Oli aber nicht so gut bekommen hat. Die restlichen Tage hab ich dann Oli gesund gepflegt, was bedeutet hat, dass wir Nachmittags gemütlich auf der Couch lagen und sämtliche Kinderserien geschaut haben- ich kenne jetzt alles und hab so viel gelernt :)

* Oli was ill last week which was really bad because we couldn't do anything except for lying on the lounge and watching all the kids TV shows. I know everything now :)

Am letzten Freitag hatte ich beim Tanzen jemanden kennen gelernt, mit dem ich mich diese Woche zweimal getroffen habe- meine ersten richtigen Dates nach so langer Zeit. (Noch gibt es aber keine Fotos, weil noch nicht entschieden ist,ob der Typ was für mich ist ;) )

Jedenfalls bin ich, bevor ich das Date hatte das erste mal mit der Fähre in Newcastle gefahren. Waren zwar nur 2 Minuten von der einen Seite des Flusses (Hunter River) bis zur anderen, aber wirklich schön.

*Last Friday I met a nice guy while dancing and I dated him twice this week (but no pictures for now ;) ) When meeting him the other day I went by ferry from one part of Newcastle to the other (crossing the Hunter river). I really liked the view.

Und den Freund habe ich dann kennen gelernt, als ich darauf gewartet habe, zum Essen abgeholt zu werden:

Am Samstag waren wir Abends bei Onkel Jamie und Tante Sally und hatten ein Vor-Geburtstagsdinner. Am Sonntag haben die Zwillinge Cayden und Lilly Geburtstag gehabt und da deren Party erst nächste Woche ist, wollten die mit uns trotzdem schonmal vorfeiern. Es gab jedenfalls frische leckere Pizza und Knobibrot... yummie.

Danach bin ich dann noch mit Sveni in die Stadt tanzen gegangen. Hier jetzt noch Beweisfotos, dass die Ozzies beim Feiern nicht ganz dicht sind. Ich sag nur: der DJ hat ein Lazerschwert und beim Song „Take of your Shirt“ reißen sich die Kerle die Klamotten vom Leib :D

*Saturday night we went for a dinner to uncle Jamie and aunt Sally- a pre-birthday dinner for the twins whose birthday it was on Sunday. We had freshly made pizza and garlic bread... yummie :)

Afterwards I met Sveni in the city and we went to our favourite club (Finnegans). Here is the proof that Ozzies are going crazy when partying: The DJ has a lightsaber and when the song ´take off your shirt´ is played all the guys are getting rid of their clothes :D 

Seit Samstag ist das Wetter leider schlecht. Es sind zwar immer noch 20 °C, aber es regnet. Ich hoffe, dass das nicht so lang anhält, sonst verliere ich meine gerade erst erworbene Bräune :)

* Since Saturday the weather is turning badly. It´s windy and rainy but still 20°C. I hope it´s going to be fine soon because I don´t want to loose my tan I just got :)
